The Official Black App: Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Ronald Leonard II: My name is Ronald Leonard II & I was born & raised in Dallas, Tx. I Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Radio & Television with a minor in Theatre Arts to begin my career in video production. Since then I have worked with many different organizations, small businesses, brands, & artists all across the US. I have worked for clients in Canada as well as worked abroad in different cities in Spain. Through quality video production, I hope to brighten the world with my view of storytelling through the lens.

The Official Black App: What made you want to start your business?

Ronald Leonard II: My love for shooting video with my desire to be an entrepreneur as well.

The Official Black App: When did you start your business?

Ronald Leonard II: While I was in college in 2015. I started shooting small videos for friends and classmates.

The Official Black App: What motivates you to keep going?

Ronald Leonard II: My family, they deserve to have a leader that follows through and my clients deserve that as well. I stay motivated thinking of the lives I can affect while building for my own family.

The Official Black App: Where do you see your business in 5 years?

Ronald Leonard II: I see it at least doubled in clientele with more equipment & creatives shooting content consistently for our own audience through our own online portal.

The Official Black App: Who has helped your business reach the point that it has?

Ronald Leonard II: My family, many supporters & consistent clients that believe in us. My main key for where we are is my father, Ronald Leonard Sr. From support, to investment, to motivation, he was the first to believe in myself and the business. He paved the way and taught me work ethic & the power of doing things correctly and not just to get it done. He is the reason for my drive & motivates me daily to make him proud daily. R.I.P.

Where is the Fine?: Steelers mock Damar Hamlin

The recent antics displayed by some members of the Pittsburgh Steelers have been nothing short of disgraceful. In a show of complete disrespect and insensitivity, these players have mocked Damar Hamlin, a player who recently required CPR to save his life during a Monday Night Football game. It is completely unacceptable for any player, or group of players, to mock someone who has suffered a serious medical emergency. Not only is this behavior callous and heartless, it also sends a terrible message to fans and the rest of the league. The NFL must take swift and decisive action in response to this incident. The players involved must be fined, and the Steelers as a team must also be held accountable for their actions. This type of behavior has no place in professional sports, and the NFL must make it clear that it will not be tolerated. It is time for the great change to occur in the NFL.
